Can I Really Be Hypnotized?

This is a question I hear from my clients time and time. It's a common fear and often the reason people hesitate to explore hypnosis, even if they're intrigued by the possibilities it offers. People hear what Dolores Cannon said or watch hypnosis sessions, and it can seem easy for those who’ve experienced it. But many still ask: Can I really be hypnotized?

Believe me, I used to wonder the same thing. I was skeptical for a long time, especially when I saw hypnosis in magic shows or even online sessions. What does "hypnosis" really mean? What does it feel like? Do people remember anything, or is it all a blank? Dolores Cannon often mentioned that her sessions guide people to the somnambulistic level of trance, where they don’t remember the experience. So, if I remember parts of my session, does that mean I wasn’t hypnotized? Was I just imagining it all?

I completely understand your fears and concerns.

Can you get hypnotized? Yes, you can!

First, it’s important to understand that hypnosis is a natural state—something we experience every day without even realizing it. It happens when you're drifting off to sleep or just waking up. These are moments when your mind enters a state similar to hypnosis. In fact, scientifically, the brainwaves during hypnosis resemble those in these everyday transitions.

Think of it like a dream. When you're dreaming, you simply go along with the story unfolding in your mind. Hypnosis feels similar, but with one key difference: we have a conversation during this "dream-like" state. After the induction, you're deeply relaxed, almost on the edge of sleep, and you begin to see images or feel sensations. Once you’re in that state, you can express whatever you're experiencing freely, without fear or judgment. Much like in a dream, there’s no worry about how things should or shouldn’t be.

One medium I saw on YouTube put it perfectly: "You can’t have faith and doubt at the same time. You must choose faith." And I completely agree. If you approach hypnosis with doubt, it can block you from receiving the experience you’re meant to have. In many ways, this mirrors life—the doubts you carry can prevent you from achieving what you truly want.

What is it like to be hypnotized?

So relax. You’ve probably been in a hypnotic state many times without even knowing it. Now that you’re aware, it’s natural to feel a bit nervous. But there’s no need to worry. If the word “hypnosis” feels intimidating, think of it as “playing with your imagination” or “creating a scene in your mind.” The important thing is that there's no right or wrong answer—whatever comes up during your session is perfectly valid. Some people get caught up searching for the “right answer,” a tendency born from our education system or life experiences. But remember, your experience is as unique as you are.

Whatever you encounter during hypnosis is meant for you.

If you’re drawn to QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique), it’s likely because your soul is ready for a new level of growth. Your higher self is guiding you toward something greater. In moments like these, it's important to trust in your higher self and the divine, to have faith in your intuition. That’s what will take you where you’re meant to go—toward the insights and experiences waiting for you.

It may feel unfamiliar at first, but once you settle into the rhythm of hypnosis, the journey becomes smooth and exciting.

So, are you ready for your spiritual journey with QHHT?
